Foreign nationals Damanjeet Singh and Pardaman Singh remanded in custody after Surrey Police Service’s Extortion Response Team investigation into April 22 shooting.
Surrey Police Service has charged two men following an investigation into a shooting at a Surrey home connected to ongoing extortion threats.
The incident occurred on April 22, 2026, at approximately 12:40 a.m., when police responded to reports of shots fired at a residence in the 13400 block of 87A Avenue. Officers found damage to the home and a parked vehicle. Although the residence was occupied at the time, no one was injured.
The case was assigned to the Surrey Police Service’s Extortion Response Team (ExRT), which identified a suspect vehicle and obtained a search warrant. With assistance from the Lower Mainland District Emergency Response Team, Canada Border Services Agency, and other police units, officers executed the warrant at a Surrey residence and arrested two suspects.
