Sikh Riders Motorcycle Club Canada Showcases Vibrant Turban Float and March Pass

KAMLOOPS BC (Mangat April 28, 2026) – The Sikh Cultural Society Kamloops organized a magnificent Nagar Kirtan to commemorate the birth of the Khalsa. The religious event began at 10:00 AM with the Sewa of Nishan Sahib, followed by the departure of the procession from the Gurdwara Sahib at 700 Cambridge Crescent.

The highlight of the parade was the participation of the Sikh Riders Motorcycle Club Canada. The group presented a special float themed around the importance of the Turban (Dastaar) and conducted a disciplined motorcycle march pass. Organizers extended their heartfelt thanks to local bikers Inder Heer, Pav Gill, and Raman Ghuman for their consistent support and participation.

The route covered Cambridge Crescent, Nicolani Drive, Lethbridge Avenue, 14th Street, and Halston Avenue, concluding back at the Gurdwara Sahib by 4:00 PM. Raagi Singhs and Dhadi Jathas performed traditional hymns and ballads (Vaars), filling the atmosphere with spiritual fervor.
