According to the schedule available on the Malaysia Airlines website, the airline will operate flights every Wednesday and Saturday of the week with its 160-seat (144 economy and 16 business class) Boeing 737 aircraft. Departing from Kuala Lumpur at 6:50 PM, the flight will arrive at Amritsar at 10:10 PM. It will depart from Amritsar again at 11:25 PM and reach Kuala Lumpur at 7:30 AM the next morning in Malaysia. Expressing his happiness on the announcement of this new flight, Gumtala said, “Fly Amritsar Initiative provides airlines with continuous statistics and other important information on air connectivity for Amritsar to various countries of the world where there is a large Punjabi community.
